The Genetic Psychology Lab is concerned with researching epigenetic and genetic influences on human behavior. In our research of gene-environment interplay, we aim to integrate different levels of analyses: More macro levels such as environmental factors, behavioural and physiological measures, and more micro levels such as cellular processes. On a molecular level, our goal is to characterize the flow of biological information, which includes the investigation of genetic variation, epigenetic processes, as well as RNA and protein expression and the investigation and characterization of circulating molecules, such as cfDNA and extracellular vesicles.

In addition to our own research, the laboratory carries out numerous types of analyses for other scientists.
