I am interested in gene-environment interactions and the question how early-life stress affects the epigenome. Using state-of the art methods like targeted deep bisulfite sequencing, qPCR and qBase analysis, my current focus is on epigenetic modifications in stress response genes as well as the oxytocin receptor gene.
